Essential terms for using our network, peering, and diagnostic services.

Effective Date: April 14, 2026

By utilizing Sunyz Network infrastructure, peering services, or diagnostic tools, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using the network infrastructure, peering services, and diagnostic tools (including the Sunyz Network Looking Glass) provided by Sunyz Network (AS150289), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement.

If you do not agree to abide by these terms, please do not use our services or establish BGP sessions with our network. We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the services following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

Service Description

Sunyz Network is a high-performance global network built on native IPv6 and intelligent BGP routing, designed for uncompromising stability and minimal latency. We provide:

  • Peering & Connectivity: Direct Internet Exchange (IX) peering and private interconnections, including tunnel sessions via GREtap, VXLAN, and WireGuard.
  • Routing Security: Strict adherence to routing security protocols, including mandatory IRR and RPKI validation.
  • Diagnostic Tools: Access to the Sunyz Network Looking Glass (an open-source tool licensed under MIT) for ping and traceroute diagnostics.
  • Optimized Routing: Low-latency routing tailored for efficient global data delivery.

Peering & Operational Requirements

For networks establishing BGP sessions with Sunyz Network, you agree to the following operational standards:

  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date PeeringDB record.
  • Provide and maintain a responsive 24x7 NOC contact.
  • Ensure routing announcements are strictly valid according to IRR and RPKI databases. Invalid route announcements will be dropped automatically.

Acceptable Use Policy

Prohibited Activities

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities while connected to or utilizing Sunyz Network:

Severe Network Violations:

  • Intentional route hijacking, route leaks, or manipulation of AS-PATH data.
  • Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks, amplification attacks, or similar abuse.
  • Network scanning, port scanning, or vulnerability assessment without explicit authorization.
  • Automated abuse or scraping of the Sunyz Network Looking Glass beyond normal diagnostic limits.

General Violations:

  • Transmission of malware, viruses, or harmful code.
  • Spam or unsolicited bulk email transmission.
  • Hosting of illegal content or facilitating illegal services.
  • Any activities that violate applicable local, national, or international laws.

Sunyz Network reserves the right to terminate peering sessions or services immediately to protect the integrity of our core infrastructure.

Payment Terms

(Applicable only to paid IP transit or specialized infrastructure agreements. Settlement-free peering is exempt from these fees.)

  • Billing Cycle: Monthly.
  • Invoices are issued on the first day of each billing period.
  • Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
  • Service suspension may occur after 30 days of non-payment.
  • All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes and levies. No refunds are provided for partial months or prepaid periods.

Service Levels & Infrastructure

Sunyz Network commits to maintaining a highly resilient core infrastructure. We strive for maximum network availability through intelligent BGP routing.

  • Scheduled maintenance will be announced to NOC contacts via email in advance when possible.
  • The Sunyz Network Looking Glass software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, in accordance with the MIT License.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SUNYZ NETWORK SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

We are not responsible for:

  • Third-party network issues, upstream transit outages, or IXP failures.
  • Data loss or corruption caused by misuse or negligence.
  • Service interruptions due to force majeure events.
  • Loss of revenue, profit, or business opportunities.

Service Termination

Either Party May Terminate

  • 30 days written notice is required for standard service or peering termination.
  • Customer/Peer must migrate services and remove routing dependencies within 30 days.

Immediate Termination Permitted

  • Material breach of this agreement or the Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Illegal activity or security violations threatening network stability.
  • Non-payment of applicable transit invoices for 30+ days.

Additional Terms

  • Intellectual Property: All proprietary network configurations and documentation are our property. The Looking Glass source code remains MIT-licensed.
  • Warranties Disclaimer: Network connectivity and tools are provided 'as-is' without strict warranties of uninterrupted service.
  • Indemnification: You indemnify us from claims arising from your service use, route announcements, or terms violations.
  • Severability: If any provision is invalid, remaining provisions continue in full effect.
